Deep cleaning & FoggingServices
RadiusBSL is currently using Sterizar, a residual anti-microbial protection solution to tackle its cleaning and fogging services. We have provided the necessary training and PPE to our employees to ensure they are providing a first-class service safely and professionally in the area to be treated.
Fogging is the quickest and most effective way to sanitize (disinfect) large areas whilst causing the minimum amount of disruption to yourself and your business.
In comparison to traditional cleaning, the process takes minutes not days and the area is ready to use within an hour of completion of the treatment.
The fogging technique has immediate results and once treated, the area is free of any pathogens
The fogging cleaning method means you can reach pathogens not otherwise accessible to conventional cleaning. As a result of this, there is no need to move furniture or equipment around for the area to be treated.
What is Fogging?
-
Alcohol and bleach-free
-
Decontaminates buildings after viral and bacterial outbreaks such as Coronavirus, Norovirus, Hand, foot and mouth, Conjunctivitis and many more….
-
Reduces the risk of infectious disease outbreak
-
Reduces the cost of absenteeism
Fogging offers deep cleaning and sanitizing, minimizing the risk of disease and illness, destroying germs and ensuring all previously infected areas are clean and free from bacteria and viruses.
What are the benefits of Fogging?
Ensure that all desks are cleared of all paperwork etc and that staff is aware that they must not enter the area while the treatment is being carried out. PCs will not need removing as a very fine mist will be used and we will not directly spray at or into any electrical equipment; the solution will find its own way to all the external surfaces. Keyboards etc will also be disinfected during the process. Please note that for the best value, all surfaces must be wiped before application. This responsibility falls on the Client to ensure that the surfaces are cleaned for this purpose. However, RadiusBSL can offer a deep cleaning service at an additional cost
What do I need to do to prepare?
Applied by fogging or spraying or it can also be applied by microfiber cloth as part of a regular cleaning regime, Sterizar leaves behind a dry monomolecular layer that is permanently bonded to the surface.
The molecule resembles an antimicrobial spike piercing the microorganism. The “vibration” in the layer of spikes disrupts the complex molecular structure of cell walls, membranes of bacteria, fungi and yeasts as well as the structure of viruses.
Once Sterizar has bonded to a surface, it provides
-
Remains effective even when dry for up to 6 hours on the skin
-
Remains effective even when dry for up to 30 days on hard surfaces
-
Non-irritating formula/Kind to the skin
-
Non-flammable
How does it work?
-
Walls
-
Ceilings / Hard Surfaces / Soft furnishings / Fabrics / Floors / And every ‘hard to reach’ area you can think of
What areas can be treated?

Does it work against COVID 19?
Yes, Sterizar has been independently lab tested as effective against COVID 19.
Doesn’t cleaning just remove the protective treatment?
NO, Sterizar bonds to the surface and cannot be removed even by chlorine cleaning. This has been independently lab tested out to 30 days (PAS2424).
Does it affect allergies?
Through independent lab testing, no allergy-related concerns have been identified. However, if you have a particular sensitivity, please consult your doctor prior to treatment.
Is it safe for IT equipment PCs, phones, etc?
The fogging application does not affect desktop IT equipment; however, it is not recommended for sensitive/open cased IT equipment just as server rooms.
Does it set off fire/smoke detectors?
The method statements for correct application avoid the risk of setting off fire/smoke detectors. This delivers a fine mist, and not smoke.
Is it safe for kitchen areas Plates, cups, etc?
Sterizar is classed as “food safe”, However, we recommend that plates, cups, etc. are moved as Sterizar can only bond to a surface that it can reach.
Is it safe for Plants, fruit, etc?
Sterizar is water-based and “food safe”. As such it is safe for indoor planting to remain in place during treatment. Although there are no health risks to food being treated, we would recommend that food for human consumption is removed.
Does it damage personal items such as clothes?
Whilst it is applied as a fine mist, we would recommend removing any items that are particularly water sensitive suede, etc.
Does it damage paper?
We recommend that loose paper is covered or placed in a drawer. In addition, the fogging machine can “blow” loose paper, creating another reason for it to be covered or placed in a drawer.
Is it safe for humans?
Sterizar is water based and is approved as “food safe”.
How quickly can staff enter treated areas?
Although a slight scent may linger for up to 3 hours, it is safe to re-enter treated areas after 1:30 hours.
